TIPS AND TRICKS

FOR NOVICE SPRAYERS:

First of, always use personal protection, full face respirators, gloves and coveralls, if contaminated , dispose of them in a proper manner.

Start with clean gun, filters and oil in your iso-oil bottle.

Always mix, agitate, before running stick pumps, try to keep mixing while spraying (gently).

When machine is fitted with recirculation make sure you use the same materials after switching drums, if you changes materials, flush away alien hose content.

Flush both sides at the hose end operating JUST the stick pumps, heaters on but without machine pressure to see if material flows evenly without cavitation, listen carefully to your stick pumps.

Handmix flushed content untill solid.

Always have the machine AND hose heated all the way up before spraying, this will prevent you chamber for clogging up.

Shoot a fair amount of polyurea on a piece of something, to check pumps, flow, and gel time.

Use clean respirators, half face filters last only 4 full days, dispose of them and use new ones.

Coveralls gloves and glasses are mandatory, but just mind your and somebody elses safety, allways.

On any material, do not shoot too much material on the first pass, a thick layer of 80 degrees celcius can do strange things.

After every pass, lock the gun, if paused for longer than 15 minutes, take pressure off the hose (retract).

If done, do not take the pressure all the way down, leave just a little on, when cooling down, shrinkage of the material can suck moisture through anything (yes, even hose material).
